Our mission is to grow the craft through instruction and hands on experience in a friendly relaxed environment. We are as passionate about woodworking as you are! So come on and join us for some great classes!!

 

Small class sizes

and that is an advantage for you! You’ll receive plenty of personalized attention and instruction and we are here to make sure you have a great class! With our small class size, you’ll receive personalized instruction while learning skills and have a more enjoyable experience.

 

A real workbench

NJ School of Woodwork offers you the unique experience of working behind a Sjoberg bench, outfitted with 2 vices,

storage drawers and a cabinet these are the finest benches made! NJ School of Woodwork is a proud distributor of these fine benches

 

We do the busy work

In the larger project classes we prepare the stock and have it ready for you to “get to work, having fun” so you will can spend more of your valuable time learning the enjoyable and important stuff—such as cutting dovetails, learning to sharpen and use hand tools effectively, bandsawing and carving a leg or precisely fitting a drawer. We offer great projects — from the basics to the complex our classes have something for everyone.

 

Open shop

If one our classes isn’t your cup of tea you can enroll in our open shop program and take your project from concept to completion!
